Detailed information #

Email Info #

Information stored in the logs for each email includes

  • Date and Time
  • Email Subject
  • Sender Address
  • Recipient Address
  • Status
  • Transmission ID or Error Message
  • Open Status
  • Click Status
  • Render of the email HTML

Time Stamp #

The Time zone and date format for the email logs is set by your WordPress configuration. These settings can be found under the General tab of your WordPress site’s settings. Engagement Tracking #

Each successfully delivered email will have click and open tracking data. An email will be marked as opened if the recipient viewed the email in their inbox and the email will be marked as clicked if the recipient clicked on any of the links in the email.

View Email #

To view a specific email in the logs click the arrow on the right of the log entry. Then click the View Email button to open the email render in a new tab.

Email Status #

Emails in the logs will be tagged with their current status. Each status is outlined in the table below.

Status (Color)Description
Pending (Grey)No other status provided or Email Delayed
Delivered (Green)Email was successfully delivered
Error (Yellow)Email that can’t be Targeted because of an error.
Failed (Red)Any event that prevented the delivery of the targeted email. (Bounce, Out of Band, Policy rejection, Admin Bounce, and more)

Log Filter #

Logs can be filtered to help you find what you are looking for. The logs can be filtered by 

  • Email Status (Pending, Delivered, Error, Failed)
  • Recipient Address
  • Time (Last Hour, Last 24 Hours, Last 7 Days, Last 30 days)

Storage #

Email logs are stored for 30 days.
